GMP issue appeal over missing man as concern grows for his welfare

Officers have issued an appeal for help to track down a missing man who was last seen in Beswick.

Michael was last spotted in the area at around 1am yesterday morning (Thursday, June 20). He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured woolly hat, with a white t-shirt and grey jacket.

He was also wearing grey Adidas tracksuit bottoms and a dark-coloured trainers, police said. Michael is described as being around 6ft 1in tall and of medium build.

He has dark brown hair with short back and sides. In an appeal shared on social media today, Greater Manchester Police said officers are 'becoming increasingly concerned' about him.

They want to make sure Michael is 'safe and well'. Officers also shared two photos of Michael, including a CCTV image showing what he was last seen wearing.
