Giro d'Italia 2023: Jan Tratnik hospitalised after training accident, Team Jumbo-Visma announce
Jan Tratnik is undergoing tests in hospital after he was involved in a training accident, his Team Jumbo-Visma have announced just one day before the Giro d'Italia starts. The team added no further details to the statement that was released on Twitter.

The 38-year-old Van Emden would later test positive for Covid-19 and be replaced by Sam Oomen. Speaking to Eurosport Norway, Foss said: “Missing the year's big goal because of something you can't control is incredibly annoying, but ultimately, something you can't do anything about.
