Gillingham manager Gareth Ainsworth’s praise for goalscoring strikers Ronan Hale, Lamin Sillah and Tom Eaves after 4-1 win at Rotherham
Gillingham’s strikers earned their money at Rotherham with a clinical display in front of goal.
The Gills had just four shots on target but converted them all in a 4-1 win at Rotherham’s AESSEAL New York Stadium on Saturday.

Manager Gareth Ainsworth was full of praise for his forward line after Ronan Hale scored a volley and a penalty, Lamin Sillah produced what the boss described as a sensational performance, and Tom Eaves came off the bench to round off a brilliant day for the strikers with a late spot-kick.
Ainsworth said: “The clinicity, the clinical-ness, whatever you call it, we were more clinical than them!
“It's better than what we've done in the past and a 100% rate of [scoring from] shots on target, that's great.”
Hale’s volleyed equaliser got the Gills back into the game, and Ainsworth was impressed with the finish.
“It was a great finish,” said the Gills boss. “Ronan's playing a little bit of a deeper position than he wants to. He doesn't say it to me, but I know. He's a goalscorer, he's a born scorer.
“If there's someone there at the back [post] to take on a volley, you want Ronan Hale, either Ronan or Bradley, [Dack]. I'll take either one of those two, they're both really good technicians and he dispatched it really well.”
Nottingham Forest loan striker Sillah, who nodded the ball on to Hale for the equaliser, then put the Gills ahead in the second half with a brilliant finish of his own after being played in by James Brophy.
“He was sensational,” said Ainsworth. “[His goal] was what I've brought him here for.
“Second half, brilliant. First half, I picked him up on a few things, and he's here to learn, he's a youngster, but he's very
