Ghost of Tsushima 2: Job listing hints at sequel

Ghost of Tsushima 2 appears to have been leaked, according to a new report from Comicbook.com.

Sucker Punch Productions released the first game in 2020, and it was both a critical and commercial hit.

The game received a Metacritic score of 83 from 122 critic reviews and a user score of 9.1 from 20,405 ratings.

The game also received an upgrade to the PS5, with the Definitive Edition. That game also reviewed really well, receiving a Metacritic score of 87, with the updated and upgraded visuals being a particular standout feature. That user score was slightly lower, but it did still receive an impressive 7.1 from 1,502 ratings.

And now it appears that a sequel could be on the way, which would make sense given the success of the first game.

There is said to be a new job listing for the game for an encounter designer as per the aforementioned website; the listing states that they are looking for someone who can “deliver interesting and varied encounters in an open-world game, with a particular focus on melee combat and stealth.”

It really does sound like that would be Ghost of Tsushima 2 and other listings mention that the team want applicants who know the systems of previous games from the studio.

That again really sounds like Ghost of Tsushima 2 is coming down the pipe, and it will be remarkably interesting to see how the game works if it is released any time soon.

Of course, at this point, we all need to take this with a pinch of salt as there has been no official word of a sequel being announced.
