Genshin Impact 2.7 Update has sadly had to be delayed by miHoYo due to issues in development, but what will the compensation be for players over the delay itself?

The developers of the massively popular game will usually issue players with Primogems as compensation for when the title undergoes maintenance for new updates.

With the announcement of the delay to the 2.7 Update, the company has confirmed that they will be issuing freebies to players.

We do not currently know exactly what the delay compensation will be, but miHoYo has confirmed that they will be offering players free content due to the delay of the Update:

The official Genshin Impact Twitter confirmed on Friday 29th April 2022 that the 2.7 Update had to be delayed.

The update read: “Due to project progress, the Version 2.7 update will be postponed.

“For detailed information on the date of the new update, content adjustment plan, and compensation, please stay tuned for upcoming announcements.

“We will provide the corresponding information to Travelers as soon as possible. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Thank you for your support and understanding along this journey.”

Despite the company saying that they will offer players freebies, many in the Genshin community don’t want to
