Gemma Atkinson supported as she admits to 'mum guilt' and asks 'that's normal isn't it' after sharing emotional update

Gemma Atkinson has been inundated with supportive messages from her fans and followers after she opened up about feeling 'mum guilt' just days after welcoming her second child into the world.

The Hits Radio host and her fiance Gorka Marquez announced back in January that they were expanding their brood following the birth of their first child, Mia, in July 2019. Gemma and her Strictly Come Dancing star beau kept their fans and followers updated during the pregnancy.

And after their 'little man' left them waiting a little longer than expected as Gemma neared the 41-week pregnant mark, he made a safe arrival into the world on July 17 with his proud parents sharing the news days later. A few days after that, they confirmed they'd named their son Thiago Thomas Marquez, or Tio for short.

Gemma has since spoken about Thiago's birth after being open about her hopes for a vaginal birth after having to have an emergency C-section with Mia before she suffered a traumatic haemorrhage. She told her loyal followers that it wasn't to be and that she again had to have an emergency C-section.

And while she said the recovery is 'tough', she said her experience this time around was 'more relaxed' and that it was a 'wonderful experience'. She also got the added bonus of Thiago being delivered by the same surgeon who helped Mia enter the world.

The new mum-of-two has now offered a fresh update, taking to Instagram on Friday (July 28) to share how she and Mia were keeping entertained while Thiago slept and Gorka continued to rehearse with his Strictly co-stars down in London before the start of the new series later this year.
