Gavin And Stacey's co-creator Ruth Jones responds after Christmas special rumours

zzzRuth Jones has dismissed rumours of a Gavin and Stacey Christmas special. .It comes after reports began circulating online earlier this week that a new episode was being filmed to air for this year's festive period - five years after a dramatic cliffhanger.

However, speaking on RTE Radio 1, Welsh actress Jones, who co-created the show with James Corden and starred as Nessa, confirmed it was 'sadly a rumour'. Jones added: "It's sadly a rumour... All I can say is, if there was something to say on that front, James and I would happily announce it, we would."
