Gary Neville's prediction about Man Utd, Liverpool & Salah before 19/20 season goes viral again

Gary Neville is one of the best pundits in England right now.

The Man United legend is extremely knowledgable of the game and he’s able to convey what he sees in an effective manner.

He’s also very passionate about the sport and always speaks his mind, regardless of whether he ruffles a few feathers or not.

However, Neville doesn’t always get things right.

Being a pundit is risky as you can end up having a strong opinion about something and then looking silly.

And a video has re-emerged on Twitter showing one instance where Neville was badly wrong about something.

Before the 2019/20 season, Neville appeared on Sky Bet’s big season debate alongside Jamie Carragher.

Liverpool had just finished second in the Premier League with 97 points.

Manchester United, meanwhile, finished a further 31 points back in sixth.

But, despite the considerable gulf between the two clubs, Neville uttered his belief that United would win the Premier League title before Liverpool.

Not only that, but he then was adamant that Liverpool’s talisman, Mohamed Salah, would leave the club.
