Gary Lineker's net worth, Match of the Day presenter's family life and 'feud' with brother Wayne
Gary Lineker is set to depart Match of the Day after a decision was made not to renew his contract with the BBC.
Lineker is expected to be stepping down from the iconic Premier League highlights show at the end of the current season. The Sun understands the 63-year-old will be returning to the corporation to front their coverage of the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico before departing for good.
Mark Chapman, Gabby Logan and Alex Scott are the favourites to replace Lineker on the Saturday night show but no replacement has yet been confirmed. MEN Sport has taken a closer at Lineker's life away from Match of the Day as he prepares for the next chapter of his career.

Having been a mainstay on the BBC for so long, Lineker is currently one of the broadcaster's highest paid talents. In the 2023/24 accounting period, Lineker topped the list of on-air personality wages earning somewhere between £1,350,000 and £1,354,999.
He is also the face of Walkers Crisps in the UK and has recently ventured into the podcasting sphere setting up Goalhanger Podcasts. They are responsible for The Rest is... series of podcasts which includes The Rest is Football where he appears alongside Alan Shearer and Micah Richards.
With plenty of different revenue streams, it is no surprise that Lineker has a vast net worth valued at approximately £27.3m by Celebrity Net Worth.
Lineker was married to his first wife Michelle Cockayne in 1986 and they share four sons together - George, 31, Harry, 30, Tobias, 28, and Angus, 26. Cockayne filed for divorce in May 2006, citing 'unreasonable behaviour' from her husband.
