Gareth Bale scores sublime solo goal in Real Salt Lake 1-4 LAFC
Gareth Bale scored a superb solo goal in Los Angeles FC’s comfortable victory over Real Salt Lake on Saturday evening.
The Welshman joined the Major League Soccer side from Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer.
Bale is yet to make a start for his new side as he regains his fitness.
He was on the bench once again for his new side in their match against their Western conference rivals.
With his side 3-1 up with 26 minutes remaining, Bale made his way onto the pitch as he replaced Carlos Vela.
And, in the 87th minute, Bale made his mark with a superb solo goal.
The 33-year-old picked up the ball roughly 40 yards away from Real Salt Lake’s goal on the right-hand side.
He proceeded to race past two players, made his way into the box, cut inside and then fired his effort past the goalkeeper.
It was piece of individual brilliance and you can view it below…
HE'S GARETH BALE.
