Galway football strong, Galway hurling not so much and why is everyone so angry?

Eamonn Fitzmaurice and Shane McGrath join Mikey Stafford and Rory O'Neill to look back on the weekend's action.

"Why are you starting with football?!?!?" we hear you cry. The lads will also take a look at the issues arising in the inter-county championship thus far that seem to be making people really angry - championship structures and broadcast deals.

Before that Eamonn assesses the impact of Galway's Connacht SFC final win over Mayo as Padraic Joyce finally manages to get his best players on the pitch. Not that Mayo should be too perturbed by losing a tight game.

In hurling, Shane tries to figure out Galway but believes the issues stem from the men on the pitch rather than those on the sideline. Wexford continue to baffle and amaze.

Shane is angry himself, about James Owens' decision not to have Waterford's penalty retaken after the referee ran across the goal as Waterford's Stephen Bennett prepared to shoot. That aside, Tipp's battling draw keeps them alive in the Munster SHC.
