GALLERY | All we do is win! Bafana Bafana bag 3-0 victory over South Sudan

Bafana Bafana secured an impressive 3-0 win against South Sudan in their Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifier at DHL Stadium in Cape Town on Tuesday.

This victory put South Africa at the top of their Group K group rankings. Although they had already qualified for the tournament before this match, Bafana Bafana played to the death to ensure a crisp finish.

The team's last match in Cape Town was against Angola in an international friendly in front of an underwhelming crowd, but 3 444 days later, and with half an hour to go before kick-off on Tuesday, Capetonians sold out the venue for a rare glimpse of Bafana.

Tuesday's outcome underscores the team's strong performance throughout the group stage as they prepare for the continental tournament.

With Bafana having already secured their passage to the tournament next year even before defeating Uganda 2-0 on Friday, Hugo Broos opted to make a few changes for this celebration-like match.

Siyabonga Ngezana, Fawaaz Bassadien, Thapelo Morena, Patrick Maswanganyi and Iqraam Rayners all replaced Mothobi Mvala, Aubrey Modiba, Ellias Mokwana, Luke le Roux and Evidence Makgopa, who were part of the starting eleven in that win over Uganda four days prior in Kampala.

Bafana finish top of Group K with 14 points without defeat, extending their unbeaten run to 16 games under Broos.
