Full list of Manchester United players in Ruben Amorim's first training session
Ruben Amorim had his first training session with only 10 Manchester United first team players present.
The timing of his arrival coincided with the departure of many players for international duty last week. This meant that his initial opportunity to take to the training pitch involved a limited group of players who will be available for this Sunday's match against Ipswich Town.
Key players such as Bruno Fernandes, Manuel Ugarte and Rasmus Hojlund are all due to return to Manchester in the coming days, with the former taking part in Wednesday's session. In the meantime, Amorim had to make do with a smaller group of recognisable names, supplemented by academy players.

Despite the reduced numbers, the quality of the session was not compromised, as evidenced by Marcus Rashford's positive social media posts. Mason Mount and Luke Shaw, both currently not on England duty, were also present at the session.
Shaw, who has been sidelined with an injury since the start of the season, is nearing a return and could be a significant asset in Amorim's anticipated 3-4-3 system. Kobbie Mainoo, another English player, was also part of the training at Carrington.
Usually away with England, he has been dealing with an injury but was seen having individual discussions with Amorim, suggesting a potentially important role for him under the new management. Leny Yoro is nearing his competitive debut after a pre-season injury, while Tyrell Malacia is also on the verge of full fitness after being out of action.
