From season three has been gripping fans with many keen to learn more about Elizabeth Saunders, the actress who portrays the unforgettable Donna Raines.

US audiences were introduced to the third season of From in September 2024, and UK viewers have been eagerly awaiting its return and fortunately, their wait ended earlier this month.

Now airing on Sky Max and NOW, From resumes where the second season concluded, with Tabitha (played by Catalina Sandino Moreno) unexpectedly finding herself in the normal world after being pushed off a lighthouse.

Meanwhile, her family and the rest of the community remain trapped in the town, doing their best to survive under the leadership of Donna Raines (played by Elizabeth Saunders) at The Colony House.

With the 58-year-old actress back on the small screen, fans are eager to know more about Elizabeth Saunders, the star of From.

Born in September 1966, not much is known about Saunders' early life, except that she was born in England and raised in Calgary, Canada.

She made her television debut in the late 1980s in a TV movie titled Almost Partners, before taking on a variety of minor roles in numerous shows and films over the years.

These include Forever Knight, The Pretender, Goosebumps, Queer as Folk, Siblings and Arrows, Paradise Falls, Orphan Black, Schitt's Creek, It, Clarice and The Shrouds.

In 2022, Elizabeth Saunders joined the cast of "From" as Donna Raines. She shared insights with Radio Times about her character's intense journey in season three: "Donna has to hold it [together], not just from the Colony House perspective, but she needs to lean out a little bit, but she's also maybe imploding a little bit," Saunders explained.
