Friends stars pay tribute to Matthew Perry on anniversary of his death

Friends stars Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox have posted a series of heart-warming pictures on Instagram to remember their friend and co-star Matthew Perry who died one year ago aged 54.

Matthew Perry was best known for playing Chandler Bing on popular sitcom Friends which ran from 1994 until 2004 across ten series.

Courtney Cox, 60, who played Monica Geller on Friends, wrote on Instagram: “Missing you today and always” and tagged the Matthew Perry Foundation, a charity established after Perry’s death to support people suffering from addiction.

Cox, whose Friends character Monica married Perry's character Chandler, posted two images: one of her and Perry smiling at each other and one of the cast of Friends in the show’s early days.
