Friday night Super League: Wins for Salford, Huddersfield & Leeds

Here is a round-up of Friday night’s Super League action which included wins for Salford, Huddersfield and Leeds in the Tackle the Tough Stuff round.

It was a scrappy start from both sides but it was the Tigers who drew first blood through Ryan Hampshire.

The Red Devils grew into the game though and tries from Tim Lafai and Joe Burgess (2) saw Paul Rowley’s men lead 16-6 at half-time.

Salford clicked into another gear in the second half and tries from Deon Cross and Burgess, who completed his hat-trick. The Red Devils ran-out 30-14 winners at the AJ Bell Stadium.
