French GP: How can I watch the race on TV this weekend?

Formula 1 goes racing again this weekend as the French Grand Prix returns for another year at the Circuit Paul Ricard.

It’s one of the most famous Grands Prix on the F1 calendar, though there’s every chance this is the last time the sport visits Le Castellet at least for a while, with no contract past the end of 2022 agreed.

Whether we see a French Grand Prix elsewhere remains to be seen next year, then, but in the meantime we’re taking a look at how you can watch all the action unfold in the south of France at home here in the UK…

Sky Sports, as ever, is the main place to be this weekend for every session.

Simon Lazenby will be anchoring the coverage whilst David Croft will be leading commentary with them joined by pundits and reporters like Ted Kravitz, Rachel Brooks and Martin Brundle delivering top insight and detail.

Sky use their Sky Sports F1 channel to cover every session of every race weekend live, from practice on Friday through to the race on Sunday, whilst they also have Thursday coverage of the driver press conferences.

For those without Sky, Channel 4 are also broadcasting highlights which will be shown after the conclusion of the Grand Prix.
