Frank Lampard is currently one of the favourites to land the Everton manager's job alongside Portuguese coach Vitor Pereira.

Pereira is someone who has made his interest in the job clear after speaking on Sky Sports News yesterday afternoon to explain just why he wishes to replace Rafa Benitez at Goodison Park.

Lampard, by contrast, is someone who has kept a fairly low profile since being sacked as Chelsea head coach in January 2021.

During his time as manager of the Londoners, Carlo Ancelotti was at the helm at Everton - an individual the Chelsea icon knew well from his playing days at Stamford Bridge.

The pair worked together between 2009 and 2011, and Lampard revealed back in 2019 the former Blues boss has had a major influence on his coaching career.

"All of them have helped me for good or for bad," he told Sky Sports when asked which manager had inspired him more than any other.
