Francis Ngannou reveals how long he has left in fighting career
UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has revealed that he believes he has at least five more years left in the fight game.
We’ve seen some imposing figures come and go in the world of mixed martial arts, but few have been quite as intimidating – and terrifying – as Francis Ngannou. The man known as ‘The Predator’ has torn through the UFC’s heavyweight division like a hot knife through butter and after a few initial setbacks, he fought his way back to the top and finally became the king of the mountain at UFC 260 when he knocked out Stipe Miocic.
Then, 10 months later, he staged a dramatic comeback to defeat Ciryl Gane with some incredibly impressive wrestling skills that somewhat came out of nowhere.
Unfortunately, he worsened a lingering knee injury in the process, with the 35-year-old having to go in for surgery back in March to repair a torn MCL and damaged ACL.
While it may have been a success, his relationship with the UFC as well as his desire to explore other options has left many wondering if we’ll see him in the Octagon again.
As per the man himself, though, Ngannou has at least five more years left as a professional fighter before he finally walks away.

Ngannou’s recovery from surgery appears to be going well as he continues his rehabilitation in Las Vegas.
In terms of what’ll be next for him when he returns, whether it be in late 2022 or 2023, nobody really knows what direction he’s going to go in.
If he wants to defend his heavyweight title then there’s a good chance he’ll have to do so against
