Four new challenges Manchester United can expect when they face Tottenham Hotspur
On Saturday Manchester United will face a Tottenham Hotspur side looking to secure their first win under Ange Postecoglou.
It will be a tough trip to the capital with Spurs fans full of hope and excitement. There's real hope that Postecoglou can oversee the return of attacking, attractive football and so United will need to be at their best if they're to take all three points.
Ahead of the game the, MEN Sport looks at the key differences between the Spurs side United faced last season and the Postecoglou-led side they'll face on Saturday.
Harry Kane
It is very much a new era at Tottenham with the Australian head coach coming in, but the most obvious change is the absence of Harry Kane. His recent departure leaves a huge hole in the Spurs attack.
Last season Kane scored 30 league goals in a side that finished eighth in the table. Kane’s goals will be tough to replace but Postecoglou will hope Son Heung-min, Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski can step up.
James Maddison
New summer signing James Maddison adds creativity that Tottenham have been lacking since Christian Eriksen’s departure.
Maddison was a bright spark for relegated Leicester last season with 19 goal contributions. He has already shown what he can bring to this Tottenham side, chipping in with two assists on his debut in a 2-2 draw with Brentford.
During his debut he was made captain after Son and Cristian Romero were replaced. The English midfielder has chosen to wear the No.10 shirt previously worn by Kane. This shows his character and Maddison will be keen to make an impression against United.
Micky van de Ven
Spurs turned to Micky van de Ven as they searched for defensive reinforcements.
The 22-year-old will bring pace to the backline. He is also
