Four Manchester United youngsters named among world's most exciting teenagers

Four of Manchester United’s youngsters have been named among the world’s brightest prospects.

While things haven’t been going so well for United this season, there is cause for optimism with some exciting players coming through the system at Old Trafford.

A number of the club’s youth players have been handed a chance already this season, and have impressed as they look to emulate some of the legends of the past in making their breakthrough with the first team.

And for four of United’s youngsters, there’s another feather in the cap after being listed in the 50 most exciting teenagers in world football by FourFourTwo.

The list takes a look at the most impressive young players currently who look set to take the world by storm over the next few years.

Among them are plenty of familiar names, including United quartet Shola Shoretire, Hannibal Mejbri, Anthony Elanga and Amad Diallo.

Shoretire comes in at number 44, having become the youngest player to represent United in European competition when he played against Real Sociedad in the Europa League last year.

The 18-year-old has been a regular for United’s Under-23s in the Premier League 2 this season, showing plenty of technical ability and a willingness to take the ball on, even in the tightest of areas.
