Former UFC star Tom Breese to make KSW debut in September against Damian Janikowski

Former UFC star Tom Breese has signed for Polish promotion KSW and will debut against Damian Janikowski later this year.

For many years Tom Breese was considered to be one of the brightest UK prospects in all of mixed martial arts. The Birmingham native was always fun to watch whenever he was performing to the best of his capabilities but after eight fights in the UFC, he left in search of pastures new.

He proceeded to capture the LFL middleweight championship with two submission wins to his name, reiterating just how strong his ground game prowess is.

Now, the 30-year-old is once again going to be testing himself on a different stage – with the one and only KSW, with the plan being for him to split his time between KSW and LFL.

From year to year, KSW is often viewed as one of the best all-around international MMA promotions in the sport. Many top names have performed at one of their incredibly atmospheric events and later this year, Tom Breese will be able to add himself to that list.

He’ll be battling it out with Damian Janikowski, a man who has an Olympic bronze medal in Greco-Roman wrestling to go alongside his 7-4 pro MMA record.
