Former Springbok coach Coetzee one step closer to World Cup dream with Namibia
Former Springbok coach Allister Coetzee's Namibian side is one win away from qualifying for the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France after beating Zimbabwe's Sables 34-19 in Marseille on Wednesday.
Namibia will face Kenya in the final of the qualification tournament, where Algeria, Uganda, Cote D'Ivoire and Burkina Faso also participated for the right to play in next year's showpiece.

Namibia opened the scoring through a well-worked backline try by winger JC Greyling on eight minutes before Zimbabwe scored a try of their own for a 7-7 half-time score-line in Namibia's favour.
Coetzee's team scored a second-half penalty try after a lineout driving maul. Janco Venter added Namibia's third when Zimbabwe was down a man following a yellow card.
Greyling added a second try before full-time to complete his double and secure Namibia's passage into Sunday's final.
Coetzee coached the Boks between 2016 and 2018, winning only 11 of 25 Tests in charge, and was sacked a year before the Springboks' 2019 World Cup triumph.
