Former Kaizer Chiefs defender lands 3-year deal with CT City
Cape Town City have announced the signing of former Kaizer Chiefs defender Lorenzo Gordinho on a three-year deal.
The centre-back left South African shores in 2020 to join Danish side Viborg FF and then moved to HB Koge in July this year, with whom he recently departed ways.
The 28-year-old made 16 appearances in all competitions this season and is also a Bafana international, notching up three appearances.
"Cape Town City is delighted to announce the signing of South African international defender Lorenzo Gordinho on a three-year deal," the club said in a statement.
"Gordinho will be eligible to play from the 1st of January 2023".
The Citizens will be Gordinho's fourth South African club, after Kaizer Chiefs, Bloemfontein Celtic, and the now-defunct Bidvest Wits.
