Footage of Jason Peters slamming 'bandwagon' Dallas Cowboys fans might not sit well

Footage has emerged of the Dallas Cowboys’ new signing Jason Peters, and it might not endear him all that well to his new fanbase. 

The Dallas Cowboys are certainly going through a transition phase right now as an organisation, with this now being head coach Mike McCarthy’s 3rd year in charge of the team, and within that team, there are a couple of position groups that are getting their own special attention.

The wide receivers for instance is one of them, as the team shifted away Amari Cooper this offseason, replacing him with former Pittsburgh Steelers wideout James Washington to compliment 2020 1st round pick CeeDee Lamb. The defence is getting attention too, with the team using their 2nd round pick in 2020 on Trevon Diggs who made 1st-Team All-Pro last year, as did 2021 Defensive Rookie of the Year Micah Parsons, who the Cowboys used their 1st pick in the 2021 Draft on.

But perhaps the biggest change that’s happened over the years has been the offensive line, who were the foundation of the team from the middle of the 2010s. Tyron Smith, La’el Collins, Travis Frederick, Zack Martin, Doug Free and Jonathan Cooper became one of the best in the business during that timespan. 

But as they enter the 2022 season, only one of them is in a fit state to play, that being Zack Martin, with the others either traded away, retired, or in the case of Smith, injured.

In order to keep the line as solid as possible, the Cowboys have reached out to one of the elder statesmen of the league to help them out. That man is 40-year-old Jason Peters, formerly of the Cowboy’s division rivals in the form of the Philadelphia Eagles.
