Footage of Eddie Hall's only known boxing fight so far ahead of Hafthor Bjornsson showdown

Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall are finally set to face each other in the ring this weekend at ‘The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium’ in the UAE.

In what has been advertised as the ‘Heaviest Boxing Match In History,’ the pair weighed in at a combined 46 stone during yesterday’s weigh-in.

The pair have been going back and forth for a while now and will finally settle the score in the ring this weekend.

It is set for six rounds, three minutes per round. Judges will be ringside scoring the fight, with knockdowns allowed.

Currently 1-0-2 as a boxer, Bjornsson knows what it’s like to compete inside the ring. However, Hall will be making his professional debut this weekend.

With that being said, Hall has competed inside the ring before.

Back in 2012, Hall competed in a charity boxing match. Within the first five seconds of the outing, the former strongman landed a knockdown.

Despite his opponent being the aggressor early on, there was a significant advantage in the power department in favour of the Brit.

Throughout the fight, both men failed to press forward and instead spent most of the outing toying and intimidating each other.

However, when the pair engaged, it was mainly Hall’s opponent trying to land clean jabs and keep himself at bay from Eddie’s vicious power.

After three rounds, Hall tasted defeat in the charity match.

Heading into this weekend’s billing, it is expected that Hall is likely to push forward and pressurise Bjornsson.

With the amount of power on display ahead of Saturday’s showdown, it’s fair to say that there will be several knockdowns throughout the entirety of the contest.
