From a physical standpoint, the Argentine is not a scary proposition at all. He stands at around 5 ft 7 in and is very slight in build.

Due to Messi’s magnificence in most departments, opposing teams spend a lot of time coming up with game plans to try and limit his influence.
That was certainly the case with Brazil ahead of their Copa America semi-final against Argentina back in 2019.
