Floyd Mayweather vs Mikuru Asakura Fight Card: Who is competing?

Floyd Mayweather is set to make his return to the boxing ring against Mikuru Asakura as part of an upcoming Super RIZIN event, but what is the full fight card for the event?

Asakura is an MMA fighter with the RIZIN promotion, and the Super RIZIN event will be in conjunction with RIZIN 38 from the Saitama Super Arena in Japan.

Mayweather has had a number of these exhibition bouts since his retirement from pro boxing, including his famous clash with Logan Paul.

RIZIN 38

This isn’t the first time that Mayweather has joined forces with RIZIN to promote an exhibition boxing match on one of their cards.

Mayweather faced Tenshin Nasukawa back on December 31st 2018, with the 50-0 legend easily defeating the younger MMA practitioner in the pugilistic endeavour.

‘Money’ will be hoping to entertain once again when he steps back inside the squared circle on Sunday, September 25th in BST time.

Speaking of entertaining, Canelo Alvarez recently slated Mayweather for his performance in their previous bout, saying that it was ‘boring.’

Speaking to actor Eugenio Derbez (via EssentiallySports) the Mexican fighter said: “I didn’t take it as a loss. Afterwards, I took it as an apprenticeship. I still didn’t have the experience to fight in those scenarios. It was a really boring fight against the best fighter in the world.
