Five players Man City are tipped to sign in 2023 summer transfer window

Outgoings have been a more dominant topic than incomings as far as Manchester City's summer transfer window has been concerned so far.

Uncertainty surrounding the futures of Kyle Walker, Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva has meant that speculation concerning potential new arrivals has, for the most part, been put on the back-burner. Bayern Munich are interested in extracting Walker from the Etihad Stadium while several big-name clubs are keen on out-of-contract Gundogan.

City manager Pep Guardiola will look to freshen up his squad this summer and is understood to be keen on a new centre-back and a central-midfielder as his leading priorities. As reported by the Manchester Evening News last week, City are considering a move for West Ham United captain Declan Rice.
