Five Arsenal players guaranteed to be in Mikel Arteta's XI next season after squad overhaul
It's been a standout soon for Arsenal's summer signing who joined the club for a fee in the region of £30million.
Ramsdale's arrival was met with a mixture of disappointment and surprise on social media, but that quickly dissipated as he usurped Bernd Leno as the club's no.1 shot stopper.
The Gunners were in the market for a goalkeeper who was able to pass along the backline and play the possession-based game that Mikel Arteta has installed at the club.
"We invest money in talent and people we believe can be great for the future of the club," said Arteta.
"We made that decision based on that and Aaron has had some really encouraging performances, and today he had some incredible saves to maintain the clean sheet and he needs to continue to do that.

Another stalwart of the defence, despite an injury issue early in there season it appears unlikely that the Scot will lose his place in the team again.
