First Time In History - SunRisers Hyderabad Go On Rampage vs DC, Score World Record 125 In 6 Overs

The SunRisers Hyderabad batters came out all guns blazing against Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2024. Travis Head (89, 32b) and Abhishek Sharma (46, 12b) went on a rampage against DC at their home-ground as they threatened to slam new records with their batting. And they did break records. Thanks to their fiery knocks, SRH reached 125 in six overs. This is the first time in the history of T20 cricket that any team has reached 125-mark in the power-play of a T20 innings.

For a team, which has slammed the two highest scores in the history of the IPL this year, there were high  expectations. But even by their own high standards, what SRH achieved on Saturday was beyond imagination.

Talking about the game, Delhi Capitals (DC) skipper Rishabh Pant won the toss and elected to bowl first against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 35th encounter of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Arun Jaitely Stadium on Saturday.
