First picture of tragic mum and three children killed in 'deliberate' house fire as family named

A murder investigation has been launched by the police following a devastating house fire in Bradford that claimed the lives of a mother and her three young children, including a baby girl.

Tragedy struck at a home in Bradford when a fire erupted in the early hours, with emergency services called shortly after 2am on Wednesday. A 29-year-old woman did not survive the inferno, with her death declared at the scene.

While her three children two daughters, ages nine and one, as well as a five-year-old son were rushed to hospital but sadly succumbed to their injuries.

The victims have been identified and pictured - they are Bryonie Gawith, age 29, Denisty-mai, age nine, Oscar, age five, and Aubree, age one. A poignant message was left among tributes at the scene, expressing: "To Bryony [sic], Denisty [sic], Oscar + Aubree. Thinking of you at this difficult time. Have fun in heaven. We will miss you."

West Yorkshire Police had previously confirmed the death of the 29-year-old woman at the blaze's location, while announcing the tragic passing of the three children in hospital. They have apprehended a 39-year-old man on suspicion of murder who was found at the site and is now in hospital with serious injuries.

Police believe the fire was 'deliberate' and 'domestic-related'. As the community tries to come to terms with the horror, neighbours and friends have been leaving floral tributes and touching notes at the residence on Westbury Road in the Westwood Park area, reports the Mirror.
