The Alake of Egbaland Golf Tournament has received a boost from one of the country’s biggest indigenous energy solutions providers, Oando PLC, which is set to promote sportsmanship by sponsoring the competition billed to hold at the Abeokuta Golf Club, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.

The firm explained that it is sponsoring the competition because it believes that is a powerful instrument that can foster national unity and drive positive change.

It added that as the country continues its journey of social cohesion and national reconciliation, communities can benefit a lot of positive attributes through sportsmanship.

Organised by the Abeokuta Golf Club, this prestigious yearly golfing event reinforces Oando’s dedication to empowering local communities and fostering social development in the country.

The 2023 Alake Golf Tournament will feature over 200 participants, including skilled and amateur golfers nationwide.

It will tee off on October 26 with the caddies’ competition, followed by the professionals’ competition on October 27, and the amateurs’ event on October 28.
