Bus firm Stagecoach tweeted: "Diversion to outer destinations via Wilmslow Road, Platt Lane, Yew Tree Road, Wilbraham Road and Wilmslow Road. This is due to a fire at the old Fingland's bus depot."
Finglands' white buses, with beige, orange and brown stripes, used to be a regular sight on Greater Manchester's roads, until the firm was taken over by First in 2014.
