FIFA 23 Ultimate Team: 13 scary cards, including Liverpool & Man Utd stars

We’re now around a week away from the release of EA Sports’ FIFA 23.

The latest edition of the famous franchise will be available to play on September 27th and to whet the appetite of gamers, the player ratings have been officially released.

All the data is available on the official EA Sports website and after having a prolonged peruse through the list, we’ve cherry-picked 13 of the scariest-looking cards for the Ultimate Team game mode.

Unsurprisingly, the players we’ve chosen (who’re rated 87 or lower, to make things a tad more interesting) are all lightning-quick, which they simply have to be given how important pace always is on FIFA.

Let’s take a look at the cards we think will be both go-to for gamers and responsible for some broken controllers.

Rudiger is now a bona-fide FIFA beast. He’s received a huge pace upgrade, one that means he’ll gobble up strikers for fun.

Koulibaly’s card is very similar to Rudiger’s – the man he replaced at Chelsea. Pace, power and defensive nous, the Senegalese defender is going to be much sought-after on FIFA 23.

After an incredible 2021/22 season, Nkunku has deservedly been made one of the best players on FIFA 23. There’s not a single weakness to his card in our opinion and it looks like the CAM of dreams.

Pace, pace and more pace, with a significant heap of dribbling. Vinicius is going to tear full-backs to shreds on FIFA 23, of that we’re 100% certain.

Arguably the best full-back on FIFA 23. Hernandez possess a 70+ rating for all six key metrics and the fact he’s French makes him perfect for hybrid squads on Ultimate Team.
