FIFA 23: Three Player Personalities explained

FIFA 23 is coming later this month and the gaming community could not be more excited.

The new EA Sports release is set to bring with it a host of new changes to the game, across multiple modes, such as Ultimate Team, Career Mode and Pro Clubs.

The game is set to release on September 30th, 2022, on all major consoles, including PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, as well as PC.

The upcoming changes to FIFA 23 include the introduction of player personalities in Career Mode.

That will allow gamers to improve their players within a skill tree and is based on the way players act both on and off the pitch.

It’s a very interesting new feature that is likely to add to the immersion and will also separate players like Harry Kane from those like Neymar.

There are three main personalities within the game.

One is Maverick, and the other two are Virtuoso and Heartbeat, which are primarily used in the player career mode.

They work in the following ways.

Mavericks are known as aggressive goalscorers who want to chase the high life both on and off the pitch.

You’ll be living it up when you’re not playing, and scoring goals when you are.

Neymar would be an example of a Maverick, and you’ll have to focus primarily on completing your own objectives.

Put yourself before the team, essentially, and boost your pace and finishing stats as a result.

As one would expect, virtuoso players are the playmakers of the game.

The obvious comparison here is Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City or Lionel Messi of PSG.

These are more humble individuals and will focus primarily on improving their game, even when they’re away from the pitch.
