FIFA 23: Huge change to early access which seriously affects players

FIFA 23 is nearly upon us, but there has been a huge change to the 10-hour trial early access that seriously affects fans of the game. More on this below.

FIFA 23 is set to release on the 30th of September 2022, with many players desperate to get their hands on the new title. FIFA 22 is still going strong, with EA still releasing promos such as the ‘Pre-Season‘ campaign, however, at this late stage of the title many players are itching for something new – which is why FIFA 23 can’t come soon enough.

Granted, because of this, FIFA fans want to know the quickest way they can get up and running on FIFA 23. In previous years, through the means of EA Play, players can usually obtain the full game via a 10-hour trial period a week prior to its official launch.

This has been the case for many FIFA’s now, but news has broken recently stating that unfortunately for fans of the football simulator franchise, this is all about to change.

More details on this are below.

As confirmed on EA’s official helpline website, the 10-hour trial for FIFA 23 is now only available three days prior to the game’s release. As per a statement on the website, EA announced the following:

‘If you pre-order FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition or have EA Play Pro, you can get in the game three days early starting on September 27, 2022. EA Play members can begin their 10-hour trial at this time, too.

‘If you’re an EA Play member, you can play a 10-hour trial of FIFA 23 starting September 27 on PC, PlayStation, or Xbox. You’ll get ten hours of playtime total, and your trial progress carries over if you decide to buy the full game with your 10% membership
