FIFA 23: How to enable Cross-Play

FIFA 23 is out and players are diving into multiple modes across EA Sports’ latest release but one question remains: How do you set up crossplay?

EA announced before the game came out that they were offering players the chance to go into online gameplay against players on different consoles.

Crossplay allows those on PlayStation 5, for example, to play those on Xbox Series X/S, while PC players can also be included.

There are plenty of new features in the game but the introduction of crossplay is an exciting one, although there are certain game modes that are not supported.

The game modes that are supported with crossplay on FIFA 23 are as follows: FUT Online Friendlies, Online Seasons, FUT Rivals, FUT Champions, and FUT Online Draft.

You can also match up with your friends in Online Friendlies and FUT Play A Friend.

If you have a PS5, you are placed in a matchmaking pool with players on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Stadia.

If you have a PS4, you can match up with players on Xbox One.

Those with a PS5, can’t play players with a PS4 and vice versa.
