29th March 2022: There has been a lot of news surfacing around the future of the FIFA gaming franchise and its title name, and the latest reports suggest it could be called EA Sports FC in the future.

25th February 2022: It has been revealed that developers EA Sports will name the upcoming game FIFA 23 despite the company wanting to part ways with the name.
It has been revealed by a reliable leaker on social media that not only will the game be cross-platform for the first time, it will also be free-to-play.
UPDATE 15th January 2022: Although not official, it is now expected that the game will be released on Thursday September 22nd 2022.
FIFA releases a new edition of the game every year, so we can expect to see FIFA 23 released in October 2022.
As mentioned before, leaker Donk Trading has revealed that FIFA 23 will be free to play for everyone!
