FIFA 23: Every Ligue 1 transfer budget

FIFA 23 is out worldwide and there is one question on everyone’s lips: How much money does my club have in the game?

There is, of course, the option to juice the transfer budget with a financial takeover, but we’re looking at the base budgets of clubs in each league. This article in particular will be looking at the budgets for teams in Ligue 1.

That means no financial intervention from the player, and this is purely the budget that will be available before any players are bought or sold.

In France, there are some absolutely gigantic clubs, including PSG, AS Monaco and Marseille.

Naturally, the club that boasts Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe have a huge amount of cash that can be injected into a squad already boasting an array of stars.

As we mentioned, PSG are well clear at the top of the list here and have the money required to turn them into proper Champions League contenders. We’d expect you to win the league every season if you pick PSG!

There are also some interesting scenarios for challenges here; Lyon have a nice wedge of cash to spend that could transform them into contenders again, while Marseille also have a decent amount that they can splash to improve the first-team.

It’ll take some wheeling and dealing but there is the allure of attempting to dethrone PSG, which sounds like a perfect long-term FIFA 23 save.
