FIFA 22 FUT Birthday: Leaks, Predictions, Token System and Everything We Know So Far

FUT Birthday is a fan favourite among many Ultimate Team players and this will be no different when the time comes around in FIFA 22.

EA often get very generous around this time and offer free packs, great looking cards and Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) aplenty for the FIFA Community to sink their teeth into.

EA tend to deploy a range of fan favourites in Ultimate Team, so expect some tasty names featured in this year’s edition. Last year we featured some fantastic cards such as Raheem Sterling, Adama Traore and Jamie Vardy all appearing during EA’s birthday celebration.

FUT Birthday is a two-week-long celebration to mark the anniversary of the first-ever FIFA Ultimate Team, back in FIFA 09. 

The first-ever FUT Birthday promo took place in FIFA 14 and the event has been a key part of the FUT calendar ever since.

To mark the occasion, EA Sports will release a special FUT Birthday squad as well as many other special edition cards and throwback players during the FUT Birthday promotional event.

Although unconfirmed – as it’s a birthday, it usually happens around the same time each year, with the promo beginning on a Friday during the last week of March.

It usually lasts for two weeks, with two teams being released during this period.

However according to some leaks, some believe the promo to be Friday 4th March – so only time will tell.
