FIFA 22: EA 'mistakenly' rewards players with Fantasy FUT Christian Eriksen

The developers of FIFA 22 have converted a normal gold version of Brentford midfielder Christian Eriksen into a Fantasy FUT version, allegedly by mistake!

It has been a strange week for EA who admitted making a number of errors with specific cards in Ultimate Team.

Last week, they temporarily removed the 83-90 x5 Player Pick SBC in the game due to players receiving only five gold players instead of six, with impacted players being sent a new pack in the store.

This took place on Thursday, with gamers having to wait a week until the issue was rectified, which will have satisfied those that were affected.

However, it looks like another error has been spotted by gamers having delved into their respective FUT clubs this morning.

While EA have yet to comment about this at the time of writing, certain FIFA 22 influencers have noticed that a 90-rated version of Eriksen’s card has been added to their team, in place of the gold card that was there.

This means that this is an increase in rating of eight, with hugely upgraded stats and with no cost to the player.
