Ferrari Gets Trolled After Posting Video Of Team Messing Up A Pit Stop

Ferrari is without a doubt the most iconic team in Formula 1, but that doesn't mean they aren't without their struggles.

While the team has had solid drivers over the years and car development has been okay, a lot of the problems that have plagued the team lately have come in the pits.

We're talking occasional pitstop issues, as well as some head-scratching strategy calls coming from the pitwall.

While it's not the sole reason Ferrari — the winningest team in F1 history — hasn't won a drivers' championship since 2007 and a constructors' title since 2008, it sure doesn't help.

That's why fans couldn't get enough of a video the team posted on social media, taken during a shakedown of their 2024 car, the SF-24.

While it has since been taken down (you'll see why in a moment) the team posted a video with the caption poetry in motion.

While it's not as bad as leaving the fuel hose attached to the car — which Ferrari did with Felipe Massa In Singapore while trying to double-stack back in 2008 — that left front tire was awful sticky.

That would be one of those stops that would completely ruin an attempted undercut or something like that.

As you might expect the internet was quick to pounce on this, and within 24 hours the team posted a new video of a much cleaner stop using the same caption.

To their credit, there was a funny mea cula accompanying the second video.

Funnily enough, while Ferrari's shortcoming are often harped on, they were actually P3 in the 2023 DHL Fastest Pit Stop standings behind only Red Bull. Additionally, the Scuderia knocked out the fastest stop in 7 of the 22 Grand Prix in 2023.

Whether criticism of the Ferrari pit crew is warranted or not, it made for a funny moment.

2024 will be a big year for Ferrari
