Fernandes, Varane, Martinez - Man United injury news and return dates before Crystal Palace

Manchester United will be targeting a much-needed three points when they face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday evening.

United have won just two of their last nine Premier League games, resulting in them falling behind both Newcastle United and Chelsea in the race for Europa League qualification. The Reds are currently two points behind Newcastle and trail Chelsea on goal difference.

As a result of reaching the FA Cup final where they will face Manchester City, who are guaranteed Champions League qualification, United know sixth will be enough to secure Europa League qualification regardless of the outcome of the upcoming Wembley showdown. The Reds will reclaim sixth if they win in the capital.

Ahead of the long trip south, United are sweating over the availability of club captain Bruno Fernandes, who has been described as a 'doubt' by manager Erik ten Hag. He is currently nursing a hand injury.

With that said, here is a full rundown of all the very latest United injury news ahead of their penultimate away game of the season...

Injury: Knock.

Evans is in contention to return for United against the Londoners, offering Ten Hag a much-needed boost at centre-back. He has been absent since the 4-3 defeat to Chelsea on April 4.

Speaking at Thursday's press conference, Ten Hag, addressing the defender's chances of featuring, said: "Jonny returned today in the team training and tomorrow, we will see if it is enough before the two days before the game."

Possible return date: vs Crystal Palace (May 6).

Injury: Muscle.
