Fans Think John Terry Has Snaked Frank Lampard

Frank Lampard wouldn't have been very happy with his side's first half performance against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night, and if he checked Twitter his mood would have only got worse.

Lampard knew when he took the job at Goodison Park in January that it wouldn't be easy, there was a reason they were only four points above the relegation zone.

But the realities of the job have become more and more apparent to the former Chelsea boss as the weeks have gone on, and they're now only one point above the bottom three.

Last year Lampard revealed that he used to call Spurs' ground 'Three Point Lane' because they won there 'a lot' according to him, so he would have been excited for Everton's trip to north London on Monday.

However things turned sour quickly as they conceded three goals in the first half and, as Lampard's former teammate, and long time friend, Terry pointed out, it really could have been more.

Football fans were quick to point out that this was a pretty harsh assessment by Terry, not because it wasn't true but because he was snaking his mate.

Terry certainly has been a lot of fun since he joined Twitter four months ago, and recently used it to hit back at an MP who criticised him for supporting Roman Abramovich.

The former Blues' captain might have been accused of treachery against his mate, but he was proved to be pretty right soon after half time.

It took about a minute after the break for Sergio Reguilon to make it 4-0 and then, having already scored once in the first half, Harry Kane made it 5-0 in the 55th minute.
