Fans tell Jonnie Irwin he's amazing as he returns to work

Jonnie Irwin has revealed that he's back in front of a camera today (Thursday) in an Instagram post. The Escape to the Country and A Place in the Sun star took to social media in the afternoon to share a picture of himself being filmed for television.

In the post on Instagram, he wrote: "Back in front of the camera- filming this morning for @mayfair_worktops at ANOTHER renovation project I’m doing. More deets later…"

The post was tagged from Heaton in Newcastle. Mayfair Worktops produces stone worktops, which seems like it's part of the reno project Jonnie is talking about.

After his recent hospital stay over a jaundice diagnosis, he looks fit and well, dressed in a smart jacket and jeans with a flat cap. Fans are thrilled to see him back in his element.

The 50-year-old was diagnosed with lung cancer just over a year ago, in November 2022. He has since revealed that the cancer has spread to his brain and that he 'doesn't know' how long he has left to live.
