Family living in fear as suspects armed with bricks keep damaging their home
A family home in Leigh keeps being damaged 'in a case of mistaken identity', police said.
Suspects have been targeting the house on St Helens Road, near to the Gilded Hollins Community Primary School, for several months. The attacks have left the family who live there 'very frightened'.
Officers believe the property is being targeted in a case of mistaken identity. The suspects are driving to the area armed with bricks, police added.

Anyone with information, or CCTV footage of the incidents, is being urged to get in touch with officers. A post on the GMP Leigh Facebook page this morning said: "Police Appeal. For several months, we have seen an increase in damage being caused around St Helens Rd, close to Gilded Hollins Primary School.
"One property in particular is being targeted which is very frightening for the family. We believe this could be a case of mistaken identity, and ask if anyone is aware of these incidents, have any CCTV footage or information to please contact us on 101 or crime stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
"The offenders are turning up to the area in vehicles and armed with bricks, so we know these aren’t opportunist of youths causing ASB."
