Families flock to book Haven's new-look coastal site with breaks from £299

Families are flocking to a new Haven holiday site following a multi-million pound transformation.

Skegness Holiday Park was previously known as Richmond Holiday Centre but was bought by the holiday park operator last year.

The company has ploughed money into the site with developments including an outdoor piazza, a new restaurant, a fully refurbished arcade, and a brand-new Marina Bar and stage.

There's a host of new family-favourite takeaway options too, from the likes of Papa Johns, Burger King and Cook's Fish and Chips.

Haven shared some artist impression's of the new site on social media, saying even more is expected on the new site from this week.

In a post on Facebook, it said: "Exclusive look at Skegness Holiday Park. Along with the fully refurbished arcade and addition of Cook's, you can expect a brand-new Marina Bar & Stage, Papa John's, Burger King, Outdoor Piazza AND much more on park by August 4th! Who's excited?"

Hundreds of people responded, many saying they will be visiting the new-look site this summer.

"Very very nice, happy holidays everyone," said one. "Can't wait till August," said another.

The transformation of Skegness comes as Haven announced it will be spending £170m this year across multiple parks in the UK.

The expansion will include new activity and entertainment facilities, as well as an increase in new
