Factory International announces 2023 opening events - with £10 tickets on sale now

There’s exciting news for art and culture lovers across the north west, as Manchester’s newest arts centre has announced its official opening and launch programme next year.

Opening in June 2023, Factory International is a brand new, global destination for arts, music and culture, where audiences will be invited to see some of the world’s most exciting artists push the boundaries of possibility.

Programmed and operated by the creative team behind Manchester International Festival (MIF), the £186m arts centre will become a year-round home for the innovative and much-loved biannual festival, which is making a welcome return next summer.

Factory International will showcase many of the ground-breaking gigs, shows, exhibitions and performances you’ve come to expect from the extraordinary MIF, by both leading artists and homegrown talent.

Based in the heart of the city, Factory International is set to play an important role in the lives of Greater Manchester residents, as the team are already working with local communities to create jobs and apprenticeships, nurture new and emerging talent, and open up more space for everyone within the arts.

And as part of its mission to make the arts more accessible, Factory International is offering discounted £10 or less tickets for all of its own shows - some of which are spotlighted below.

Factory International has also announced that Manchester International Festival will return from June 29 to July 16, 2023, featuring some of the greatest artists on the planet and challenging crowds in spaces across the city.

Plus, as the new year-round home of MIF, Factory International will be hosting multiple events during the summer and beyond.

Here are just a few highlights coming to the centre
