Fabricio Andrade Exclusive: ONE FC fighter talks Amazon Prime main event

ONE Championship Bantamweight contender Fabricio Andrade is set for the biggest fight of his MMA career when he takes on John Lineker at ONE on Prime Video 3.

The Brazilian fighter is unbeaten since making his debut for the company in 2020, and now he has the opportunity to fight for the ONE FC Bantamweight MMA World Championship in the main event of a huge Amazon Prime streaming card.

We were able to discuss his upcoming fight with Lineker as part of ONE on Prime Video 3 as well as a potential UFC/ONE crossover bout with the likes of Aljamain Sterling or TJ Dillashaw!

GMS: We’re around two weeks away from the biggest fight of your MMA career, how are you doing mentally and physically for the fight? Do you need to cut much weight or are you nearly there?

Andrade: I feel great, mentally and physically and I try to keep my weight always the same so I don’t get heavy. I always keep around 67kg (the division limit is 65.8 kg). So I’m like always close to the weight so I don’t have problems with the weight cut.

GMS: Earlier in your career, you were taking submission and decision wins, have you been working more on striking considering your last three emphatic wins via TKO/KO in preparation for this eventual showdown with John Lineker?

Andrade: I always had the desire to fight him [Lineker] because I knew he was like the best guy, one of the bigger names in ONE. I’m always improving and getting better because I’m still young, I’m still learning a lot but I think the reason why now [am I getting more knockout wins]? It’s because
